About Ask Vero.
Ask Vero is an iPhone app that watches your bank accounts and tells you what matters about your money, before it's a problem. It is not a dashboard. You ask a question, or Vero speaks first, and you get a straight answer.
What Ask Vero does
Vero does three things:
- It answers your questions. Type or say a question about your money and get a short, direct answer with the number that matters.
- It warns you first. Vero watches your accounts and sends an alert when a bill will leave you short, a subscription goes up, or spending runs high. Alerts say what to do next.
- It stays quiet when you're fine. When nothing is wrong, Vero tells you in one line that you're on track, and then leaves you alone.
Examples. Your answers come from your own accounts.
What makes Ask Vero different
Answers, not charts.
Most money apps give you a view, such as a chart or a list of transactions, and leave you to work out what it means. Vero gives you the answer.
It speaks first.
You don't have to open the app to find a problem. Vero finds it and tells you before it happens.
No budget to keep.
You don't have to set up categories or limits, or keep them up to date. Vero works from what is in your accounts.
The numbers are calculated, not guessed.
Vero's code works out balances, bills and what is left. The AI explains the result in plain words.
Who uses Ask Vero
People who want to know where they stand with money without keeping a budget. It helps most if you have more than one account, a regular paycheck, and bills that land on different days, and you want to know "am I okay?" without doing the math.
How Ask Vero works
- Connect your accounts. You sign in to your bank inside Plaid's secure screen. Vero gets read-only access and never sees your bank login.
- Ask, or wait. Ask anything by text or voice. Or do nothing, and Vero tells you when something needs you.
- Act. Vero tells you what to do next, if anything.
The team behind Ask Vero
Ask Vero is built by Tyler Szakacs, a solo founder near Philadelphia, under Szakacs Media LLC. He started it in October 2025 because he wanted to just chat with his own finances: did the bill clear, what does the next paycheck have to cover, and what is left.
