Ask Vero is an iPhone app that answers questions about your money and warns you before bills or spending cause problems. It connects to your bank accounts with read-only access.

Example questions and answers:

  • Can I afford dinner out? Yes. After rent clears Friday you have $312 free until payday.
  • Why did my gas spending jump? More trips, not higher prices. You filled up 6 times this month, up from 4.
  • Am I okay until payday? Yes. After rent you will have about $1,800 before your paycheck on the 15th.
  • Example warning: Rent will hit short. $1,895 leaves Chase on the 1st and you will be $212 short. Move $250 from Savings by Thursday.
  • Example reassurance: You're on track. Spending is down $140 this month. Keep going.
